Brickledge

The Isokern brickledge is a proprietary component that is supported by the DM chimney components. Isokern brickledge component is uniquely designed to allow a brick or stone chimney to exit out the roof for interior fireplace installations. It eliminates the cost of having excess masonry carried down the footer.

A brickledge can be used in almost any interior application where masonry above a roof is desired. This allows for a typical 3 x 3 foot or 4 x 4 foot wide chimney profile. The brickledge measures 32.5 x 32.5 x 3 inches and is reinforced. Refer to local building codes or your architect prior to installation to make calculations for providing adequate footers for additional weights.
